Kiefer Sutherland is in jail.  He drove drunk.  He's doing hard time.

Now we wonder about gender bias where female celebrity drunk drivers get off easier in the legal system. 

Fame whores like Nicole Richie, Michele Rodriguez, Lindsay Lohan, Cynthia Watros, Britney Spears and Paris Hilton were all caught drunk and none of them were sentenced to the 48 days given to Kiefer. 

Kiefer isn't complaining about doing time and word on the street is he's being a man about it and working in the jail laundry -- but we still cannot help wondering if Kiefer were female if he would still be incarcerated or not.
